I have done a lot of running around this week mainly in the Fashion District and at some publication companies where I had some business to conduct. I was humbled last night when a women at the front desk at the Hearst, building told me: "You are a pleasant person;" she even took a bystander as her witness "Isn't he?" and that girl who had witnessed our friendly exchange added: "Yes he is and this is really rare in this industry." I could only say: "Thank you!" But in my mind I knew I was mostly grateful for the positive people who have surrounded me these last couple of months. I guess their kindness rubbed off on me.
