NYC December 2011
Merry Christmas, happy Hanukkah, happy Kwanzaa to you. Thank - you for visiting my blog during the busy holidays season. I hope you will take the time to chill. Holiday preparation can be exhausting both physically and mentally. My previous blog was about "Smiling" as a way to self heal our souls and improve our own lives whatever the hardship or the condition of the moment. Today is a time for cheers; spending time with love ones a great time for soul food and hugs. In short the most simple things in life are free and during the holidays I remember this when I get on the phone and call all my close friends and family around the world. I hope and wish you a great one to you and yours. If you would like to receive any of these song I uploaded bellow; Just email me at firstname.lastname@example.org let me know what song you like and I will email them to you. With all my love.
D-blog certified 2011 best
As the year come to an end I compiled a list of best of 2011. Fell free to add in a comment anyone you may think I have overlooked for their achievement this year. My wish for 2012 is more understanding so to prevent conflict in our inner circles and to resolve any remaining wars in the world. The hopeful always win and the hopeless will always benefit from hope. Djamee
smile today for a better tomorrow
D. Raphael, at age 14
Smile even if you have lost your job; smile even when love is gone, smile. Smile, even if you can't find your way home. Smile, smile, smile. A smile radiant like the first time you kissed. A smile just like a memory bliss. Your smile on my lips for life, eternal and free. Life is too short not to smile and when the time is hard; smile to smooth your path to renewal. Smile to lay a way for hope; because a smile is the natural way of life; creation and love. Why aren't you smiling today? We all have some reasons to smile; what are yours?
If you feel life has handed you a bad game; if you know you are not treated right; close your eyes, smile and start your game over.
You see, a smile is free unlike life's commodities. When you put your smile out there; it signals to the world at large that you are ready for more. No one but yourself can prevent you from smiling. It is worth trying. You can afford a smile; everyone can. Life is a wondefurl mystery. One of it's most precious key is the love we wear on our face everyday; smile.
Smile for all you want and all you care; for a smile is the mirror of your face and a broadcast of your fate. Smile - Djamee

I was still in college, when I saw Tyrese in that Coca Cola commercial that made him an instant phenomenon. The ad that you can watch bellow earned him 190K and literally got him out of the ghetto. Tyrese, bought his mom a house with the money and the rest is history. Who can forget his smile? Tyrese explored his voice to croon the ladies and he later on used his looks to help GUESS Jeans and his bank account continue to grow. Eventually Tyrese became a movie star with recurring roles in the Fast & Furious and Transformers but unlike Chris Brown his forray into rap failed. Nevertheless Tyrese, is back with a new album and today you can download STAY his remix featuring Faith Evans and Rick Ross. This is a laid back ballade with enough soul and a catchy sample from the 80's to get you trough the day. Today, when I saw Tyrese's photo I had to grab Robert's matching image lol[WEIRD]. Robert Knox shots several worldwide campaigns for United Colors Of Benetton at the time when Benetton, was still hot and relevant, Then all their ads were shot by famed photographer David Sims. Robert, does not sing nor rap but he is like Tyrese, a devoted son; he just loves his mother. As he is prepping for a come back into modeling and getting ready to start acting; you can only wish him to do as well as Tyrese; someone he can look up to. Tyrese is a good role model and in person they look both very different but here is my blog for today-DR
It's Friday, and on D-Blog this means that I have a new selection of the latest must have looks ready to ship today at my store on Styleowner. Make sure to check the Fashion Friday section. I also suggest you use the holiday season to show and bring the best of yourself wherever you go; whatever you do. This will help you reconnect with yourself and the people you may have lost touch with during the year. A simple makeover might be just the right trick needed to accomplish that. You will love yourself more and you will feel better as a result. This is called dress the part; dress for success. When you look the part, this bring your all being to another level of vibration.
I found a pictures of myself that I took the day of my birthday 2 years ago. I wanted to send a nice picture of myself to my parents who live in Gabon back in Africa. So I asked my friend Stylist Andrew Felton to come and make some magic happen by getting rid of the athletic urban clothes. He pulled a cream GUCCI suit with thin 2 tone stripes and fitted pants; a fitted Versace shirt and a hand made in Italy 2 tone slik tie. To finish the look or start it he brought me a pair of Prada black leather moccasin. He was going for the Spring Summer Italian classic look; I was born in late April.

Uniqlo made to be classy
Uniqlo - Winter 2011 / 2012
I love this European look from Uniqlo's 2011/2012 Winter collection. I am growing into this expensive but affordable look this winter. I want to keep warm so the Japan Heattech heat generating technology with their long sleeve shirts and johns will help me look sophisticated yet I will stay warm in style. I will update my store with more looks that picked my eye later on today. -DR
