NYC December 2011
Merry Christmas, happy Hanukkah, happy Kwanzaa to you. Thank - you for visiting my blog during the busy holidays season. I hope you will take the time to chill. Holiday preparation can be exhausting both physically and mentally. My previous blog was about "Smiling" as a way to self heal our souls and improve our own lives whatever the hardship or the condition of the moment. Today is a time for cheers; spending time with love ones a great time for soul food and hugs. In short the most simple things in life are free and during the holidays I remember this when I get on the phone and call all my close friends and family around the world. I hope and wish you a great one to you and yours. As the year come to an end I compiled a list of best of 2011. Fell free to add in a comment anyone you may think I have overlooked for their achievement this year. My wish for 2012 is more understanding so to prevent conflict in our inner circles and to resolve any remaining wars in the world. The hopeful always win and the hopeless will always benefit from hope. Djamee

First I want to acknowledge THE UNIVERSAL ZULU NATION and the events they are bringing to NYC, to help celebrate HIP HOP, Culture 37th year Anniversary, back to back with the celebration of their 38th, years of existence. I was lucky to see Afrika Bambaataa, & The Soul Sonic Force, perform when they were in Paris at Club Midnight Express at La Defense years ago. I got the chance to meet him at The NYU Radio Station at the end of one of his interview, in the mid 90's and we talked about paris. Later on I met his son who was a resident DJ of Koncrete Jungle; and we talked about his father. But Flashback to Paris, when I was doing the B-Boy, thing dancing on the streets and R&R train platforms or on the steps of the Cultural Center George Pompidou; enjoying the new born culture. I remember going to the movies to see Beat Street, (check out the battle video HERE) many times with my crew. We used the exit doors to get in the theater, and stayed all afternoon to see the film over and over. We did what needed to be done to see those break dance moves as if on replay. We had the VCR, but the tapes where a hot commodity and hard to find in Paris then. After school, it was practice, practice, practice! We had to be as true as possible as what you would get at Herald Square in New York. This was a long time ago but I always remember the feeling of accomplishment this experience gave me. From then on I knew I could do something out of nothing or at least out of an idea. These were the best years growing up. We made many friends and a lot of money but our crown moment was when we were tapped by the United States Consulate to perform at their outdoor concert for the july 4th U.S.A Independence day celebration. Here we were on stage sponsored by a dance company for our outfits and our Adidas kicks with our family cheering us on and the TV cameras rolling. Nobody said this would be easy, but when we did it this was so much fun that we hardly thought about the skills we were developing. Only the B-girl in our crew was taking professional dance classes. We all learned how to dance among ourselves. We put our mind together kept a strict discipline and help each others reach the goals we had set ourselves to become a relevant street dance crew in Paris. To this day Paris, is still the second city destination for Hip Hop, in the world and since has produced its personal genre of artists rap etc. We are people of habits what we learn young is what we take with us as we become adults. Hopefully, you have learned early creative skills that will give you the confidence to live fully; embrace and enjoy your life and follow your dreams. My 1st book V.I.P Various Imbeciles Protected, is coming soon in it I tell different storie that happened at different stage of my life and how each experience ended up making sense in my curent situation with my business. Take the time to support and like my Facebook, page and follow me @DjameeVIPbook on Twitter. Each like counts and put you on my 100 thank you/gift list. Zulu Nation, inspired in me a sense of justice, love and solidarity for the community. As a DJ and Raver Promoter with Solution Network, in the East Coast Rave scene, I learned that by helping each others we all can get to where we want to go. My home girl DJ Stiletto says "Music is the answer." I agree. Be on the look at for KENNIE DUBB mixtape and brand new music video - DR

WALE The Eleven One Theory
Tom Brady Gisele Bundchen
Forbes: The World's Highest-Paid Celebrity Couples -DR
QUOTE: It was the famous cynical psychologist and celebrity researcher Jim Houran who once said that “powerful people tend to gravitate toward other powerful people.” When it comes to celebrity couples, one plus one equals millions – $283 million, to be precise, the estimated combined sum earned by The World’s Highest-Paid Celebrity Couples between May 2010 and May 2011, according to data from the latest Celebrity 100list.Coming first on our ranking is the powerful duo formed by supermodel Gisele Bundchen and NFL superstar Tom Brady. Thanks to a monster year filled with fashion and endorsement deals, not to mention a few business ventures that could put her on the road to becoming the world’s first billionaire supermodel, Bundchen pocketed a massive $45 million over the 12-month period. Not to be overshadowed by his more famous wife, Brady – who signed a four-year, $72 million contract extension in September with the New England Patriots, NFL’s richest deal on an annual basis – brought home another $31 million, putting the couple’s combined annual earnings at $76 million.
Music’s most powerful couple, Beyonce Knowles and Jay-Z hauled in some $72 million over the past year, making them No. 2 on our list. The Houston-born R&B diva pulled in $35 million, thanks mostly to business-focused deals such as a clothing line with Dereon and endorsement deals with L’Oreal, DirecTV, General Mills and others. As for Jay-Z, his earnings come from the 10-year $150 million Live Nation deal that he signed in 2008 and the cash he collects as a shareholder in New Jersey Nets, 40/40 Club chain and ad firm Translation.
Hollywood royalty Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt came in third place on our list, with a combined $50 million annual income. The highest-paid actress in the world is the only woman making bank for playing action heroes in Tinseltown these days: Salt, which was originally written for Tom Cruise, earned $300 million at the box office. Her other movie from last year, The Tourist, made another $280 million worldwide. As a result, Jolie folded about $30 million last year, while her husband, Brad Pitt, cashed in some $20 million. With his Plan B production company, Pitt has become as active a producer as he is an actor. But don’t write him off the big screen just yet, as his latest movie appearance (on Terrence Malick’s The Tree Of Life) is already generating Oscar buzz.
