Back to school Apparel means two different things for parents and for their kids. The parents want their kids to start the new academic year in the right spirit; while their kids are mostly interested in showing off how pretty cute the Summer has been to them and how fresh they are from the gate(literally). This is your kids non verbal communication 101.
Thankfully StuddedSpikes by Djamee a unisex for the whole family new line of cool apparel is reaching above water.
Djamee says:"In 2009 when I launched StuddedSpikes in Manhattan New York; if someone had asked me if I knew I would be designing apparel in 2019; I would have told them no. StuddedSpikes are only hand made accessories. But today I feel different. I realize you can really be creative when it comes to tees hoodies even bag packs and totes. You can express your mood and even start a conversation in these cold streets by wearing a tee or a hoodie which reflect your mood of the moment.
Kids like to fit in but that does not mean that they want to wear the same generic shirts from the department stores. They want some originality and creativity too. You can be cool without breaking the bank wearing StuddedSpikes by Djamee. For the top quality material offered; connoisseurs will be delighted to grab the "Limited Editions," pieces they can rock day and night in or out of town.
There are new StuddedSpikes arrivals every Thursdays. On top of that, there are special designs rolled out at anytime which ads to the fun in following this brand. The main StuddedSpikes store is on TeeSpring. On Djamee's site you get a general idea of what is to come and can go back to archives of previous runway shows. Soon at least two other major platforms will carry the new designs.
" My focus is on the customers experience. You are going to wear them and it has to be the best quality possible; so that you know StuddedSpikes is a good idea for a gift of great value. Treat yourself or anyone for a special occasion or for the holidays. 100% satisfaction guaranteed is a basic standard for me. If you are not happy with my designs why should you have to keep them?
The answer to this is simple. I have you in mind when I put my designs out. I'm only happy if you are."

Most of us know about the Law of Attraction, so how come we don't know how to use it or why do we use this universal law against ourselves?
Djamee started to have challenges when he thought his life was set. You probably can relate. Most people at one point in their lives lost control or realized they did not have control to begin with. Everything they had built was now gone; sometimes in an instant. They were devastated; they did not know to whom to turn to. They felt ashamed and they would not let anyone know about their situation. May be they went from being healthy to being ill; from being in a good relationship to being alone and unhappy; from having money to losing it all; from loving their job to being laid-off...
Wouldn't you absolutely love to learn how to take back control of your existence starting today? NOW YOU CAN; by learning what Djamee discovered recently. Djamee shares his proven system on how to be happy and have everything you want in life in "How To Survive When You are Flat Broke," 4th Edition. Yes you can have whatever you desire.

I am always amazed on how much people get away with; or at least it seems for a while.
When it comes to concepts; we deal with opinions and in this case my own. Today I am sharing with you my belief about ethics; confidence and recognition in show biz.
Please keep an open mind; and I suggest you challenge me or help me redefine some of my ideas. Ideas can always be "Fine tuned." Mine are no different. We should always keep room for improvement.
Everything has been created and perfected from the beginning of time. Past present and future are human made concept that allow only for innovation.
In every generation there are innovators; not creators.
I have a strong CONFIDENCE in the statements thereof.
On "Ethics": When you are facing a moral choice realize what MORAl means and if it does not resonate with you; come closer to home and ask yourself "What would an human do in this situation."
On "Confidence:" You will need to be confident when making a decision. So take the time to think before your act; talk ; or write. You may be confident that you are right but that does not necessarily make you right. By putting yourself in the other(s) person shoes you will be able to adjust your level of confidence to what is MORALY fair.
On "Recognition:" If you want to climb the ladder of success FAST; with a strong group of supporters on your side; you will need to genuinely recognize each individual that helped you by name or their affiliation, if they are a part of huge group.
Examples of good ethics VS Bad ethics in show biz:
As a writer; music producer/beat maker; songwriter; video director; designer/Fashion Designer; Model scout /Casting Director... If you decide to use someone's work; quote them! Mention them; or acknowledge them publicly in writing and verbally as well as in the credit of your current work.
Michael Jackson R.I.P, always credited James Brown R.I.P, but omited to credit Manu Dibango for a sample he used from Soul Makossa, to write Wanna Be Startin Something; Prince, credited Jimmi Hendrix for his early style; Madonna RECOGNIZED the stars from Hollywood's Metro Goldwyn Mayer movie Studios; Lady Gaga, takes good care of her "Little Monsters" and Justin BIeber always RECOGNIZED his fans. From the early days on Youtube up to now 5 years later. Today, Justin Bieber is the stars with the most views on Youtube...
Youtube always credit the original owner of a copyrighted work in their content by redirecting a song cover to a merchant store where audience can purchase or at least RECOGNIZE the original even if it consists of only 30 seconds of original content.
Nicki Minaj, made history earlier this year by performing and rapping "Stupid Hoe" in a video by Hype Williams, using archetypes from some of the most respected photographers such as Jean Paul Goude and living legends such as Grace Jones in what turned out to be one of the most disparaging song to associate glamourous iconic images to diss Nicki's rap rival in that case the evident target was Lil Kim. The "Queen Bee," ended up winning by default because of Nicki Minaj's faux pas. As it turned out the lyrics were actually good but the video was totally inappropriate for such a song.
In comparison Madonna, used her mega hit of the early 90's VOGUE, to RECOGNIZE all the major Hollywood stars before her by name while edifying their style in imagery in her Vogue's video. She scored an everlasting result by doing so and positioned herself as an icon as well. She brought on her side music and movie fans that may otherwise not have embraced her.
So when as an artist you decide to use someone else style or music or ideas you are well advised to credit/recognize them by name in a reverent way. The downfall for not doing so is not worth trying doing without.
Click on Flyer by Chris Broady
In the video above you have here the perfect example of RECOGNITION. Although the POP UPs were edited by VH1, the only way producition could find these information is because camp Madonna; Label and Management had properly archived and filed these information with detailed credit including the names location and dates.
I was surprise recently when Chris at Broady Designs credited me with coming up with an INNOVATION when I decided to ask him to use specific imagery from THE MATRIX to change Neo's character choice of 2 pills to pick from in "Morpheus," hands into a choice of red or blue mic on each of his hands; when I ordered a flyer to help promote a new open mic I am co producing with Rick Davy & DJ Stiletto in Brooklyn. But it showed "Show Business" savvy and ethics; as I know I did not request him to mention it.
When actors or singers are about to receive an award; their emotion can be overwhelming. That's why they learn to remember important facts that have to do with credit and recognition so that they can recognize those not on the spotlight sincerely and on cue during an interview or on stage performing or recieving awards.
I am a "Young African Visionary" (page 20 & 21) editing my first book V.I.P Various Imbeciles Protected. Make sure to follow me now @DjameeVIPBook my book is partly autobiographic with an how to in my own words with quotations and due credit...lol -DR
How long can you keep a secret, aka your mouth shut 0.o>>>? For me it depends. I won't say WHO but I will tell you WHAT. #TeamShaunRoss this EXCLUSIVE item is for you: So the last you heard is that after flying to Vienna for a much publicized runway show at the end of this week Shaun, would make a beeline back to the big Apple? Think not. Shaun, has become a globetrotter in the mecca and he may need the help of one of The Avengers to catch his plane; do his transfers to reach his next destination: A secret movie set! I have noticed an increasing demand on his time in the modeling world and now a growing interest for Shaun to be a part of movie projects. This is a new challenge Shaun, must face getting from point A to point B and C and D; and I am not talking about the Subway lines... In additon to the super heroes, Shaun may have to call on some instant quantum Physics powers to try and duplicate himself.
Jokes aside, Shaun has all the strength he needs to go trough with it.
I remember him, on the set of his first catalog shoot in 2008; we were all breaking for lunch but he would not stop. When his mom asked him why and if he was not hungry he said he did not want to mess up his make up or the clothes he was wearing; yet there was a make up artist and a stylist on hand... He ate after he was done. He was on his feet 7 hours non stop that day; breathing only in between change of clothes. Dedication & consistency pays. So Kiddo(s) on this one that's all I am allowing myself to dish on my internet real estate space. "Where there is a will...
Jose, featured in this supercool school project just finished a shoot for LENOVO. He is now looking at some TV show offers. HBO; CW? TBA

The last time I saw my business banker I got a laugh out of him when I told him:"The more money you make the less you spend."He answered how so?" I told him"perks, and let say if i had nothing on my accounts you would charge me all kind of fees to keep them running and if I had plenty in them you would offer me loans etc when you know I don't need it = LOL"
Our DJ STILETTO will be on the 1 and 2. For complete live performances & line up update; please visit Fresh Apple Curious music blog. - DR
If you live in Manhattan, you probably love the city and always will. Yet all signs point to Brooklyn as the emerging number one destination in New York, for anything art; Sport and entertainment. The Nets backed by Barclays, the #1 bank in the world has already transform Brooklyn; it's landscape and the perception people have of it even before it opens it's doors on September 28th. Jay Z, arguably the most famous Brooklyn native knew he had to Be part of it and invested millions of it's own fortune to become part owner of the NETS franchise that was on is way to BK from NJ. Big brand luxury stores like Barneys are following Target there and the subject of our attention today the one and only trend setting fashion pioneer in Brooklyn BK Fashion Week End is celebrating their 13th Season this weekend from March 29th to April 1st 2012 at the Industry lofts, effectively putting "BROOKLYN & BEYOND" on the map for more than 6 years.
I have been a fervent supporters of BKFW since I came across the Foundation years ago. I had found a flyer promoting their next event on the ground and I picked it up. It said on it that they needed models so I went to the casting they were doing in Greenpoint that season. I introduced myself and met Rick Davy the creative director and force behind it all. Since then I have been involved with helping with models generating new ideas for the events and was even awarded at the Brooklyn Borough Hall for my team efforts in 2011 at the BK Style Foundation regognition ceremony event. I am grateful I was given the opportunity to kick start my now growing line of accessories StuddedSpikes by Djamee with Jhon Ashford Shoes in Fall 2009 at a BKFW show. The show was taking place in an old church and again in 2010 when they took it to the huge Steiner studio by the waterfront in Brooklyn Navy Yard. Channel 12 News a fervent BKFW sponsor did a reportage on the designers collections and the response I got from the media exposure was explosive to my business. The energy is on point "Brooklyn is for the hard knocks in life. With the foundation's support I always have the fuel to continue Being part of it; Fashion that is. SEE YA LL THERE! - DR
