NICKI MINAJ A STAR IS BORN
"If you want things to change you will have to change things in your life." This in one of the most compelling advice I have heard in long time. In late Spring 2010, in a form of a CD that my "Homegirl," let me download. The whole thing was a 3 or 4 days seminar that people had to pay up to $10,000 to attend in the French Alpes. Inside the jewel CD were included motivation techniques; books selection and a wealth of other information about the Law of Attraction; and how to apply it in your life. Since then I have developed a bigger interest in reading and learning. You will discover that if you would like to write a book; a novel a course on marketing; or just write in general; reading is the best way to go about it. Some of you know that I am writing my first book V.I.P, like us on Facebook Various Imbecile Protected will be published in 2011.
DJAMEE.COM is getting a complete make over! I call it a Nicki Minaj lol; a fresh winter look that reflects where I am as a person and where we are headed as a startup company.
Speaking of Nicki Minaj, she is on the cover of this month V magazine. She might have asked Vogue Editrix Anna Wintour, for a cover in a verse on Pink Friday but V beat them to the punch. I told you on D Blog before that the success of Lady Gaga will be matched or surpassed by Nicki Minaj in fame and fortune. Lady Gaga, has made over $64 Million, in 2010 according to Forbes mag. We anticipate that it should be easy for Nicki, already a platinum to establish herself as a brand. We believe the early signs such as her endorsements by MAC cosmetics releasing a lipstick just in time for Pink Friday. And keep in mind Nicki's alter ego acting ambitions.
Seth Rogen, the co star of Green Hornet, channeled Paris Hilton, to portray a spoiled rich kid, "Britt Reid" or at least the male version (I hope). "He tells MTV news, "As embarrassing, as that is to say, we kind of based him off a male version of Paris... those people who are sons or daughters of people who have accomplished great things. We probably give them a little more credit than they've gotten in the past and we explore why they 're such jerks and why they act out." Hummmm? Dorothy Robinson in her "The Word" entry in METRO today; seems to agree with me that "When most people in film name Paris Hilton as their inspiration, they're usually porn stars." I will go see this flick though lol.
