In this video featuring Karry Wang Junkai, of the TF BOYS, you get a complimentary VIP pass to the Behind The Scenes, of his "DREAM CONCERT."
For those of you who are interested, I have placed the youtube link under the video so you can watch the actual show. Karry Wang's solo career is just spectacular. The change of clothes; the choreography, the piano solo; the musician's jam; and the change of hairdo (spoiler alert) Complete with hair extension and tiara.
Here eerily, at a packed stadium days before the global pandemic 2020. I believe this is an example of how a bigger dream can pull you high and far like a big magnet could to attract your dream's achievement.
It always starts with your dream. The dream stays alive as you put fuel on it. What you will observe in this behind-the-scenes video is the actual kind of work that needs to be put into place before the actual "Show." Well, at least some part of it. But you get the idea.
There was a time at The Metro Goldwyn - Meyer Studio (MGM), Talent was signed for their potential for development. Not for the level, they were at when they were discovered.
When signing the talent knew that their life would change. Not what you may think. Yes, the glamour; fame, and money would come. But it would come with success.
What they would have to get prepared for is intense work. They would have to invest their time in developing new skills. Learn how to sing; accents. Speak several languages; stage combat. Learn and master several dances. Learn how to cook; learn how to drive; learn how to use firearms; learn how to ride a horse.
This list is not exhaustive.
When the studio Producers and team would come back to them with a script; if there was an element in it that required them to train. Let's say the actor would have to play an Olympic swimmer; the studio would provide intensive swimming training to get the actor to learn the basics; so that they could play their part in the most authentic way. They would go through the training even if they were assigned a stunt body double.
If you want to achieve that level of success in your own endeavor; there are a few things you will want to come to an agreement with. You will have to be ready to invest time. You will have to select how you spend your time. This means your favorite people with whom you hang out may not be part of that plan; if it is to become accomplished. This kind of commitment will inevitably be perceived as a sacrifice.
You can try to half-ass this. And you will never reach that kind of level of success. This will be intense. This won't be about what you know or what you like at the beginning. It will be only about what works. This will require a level of focus on your part that some call obsession.
If you want to hear yes If you want to kick that door open and enter and be a part of the high-level group of your choice. You will have to be serious about it.
Have a look. This is not whether you like the TF BOYS or Kerry Wang. This is besides the point. The point here is to see a clear example of what I talk about.
You will understand why people quit. Why people do not make it. Not because they are not good; but because they are not willing to put in the right work. This is why this is important to choose something you love to do; so that the efforts it will ultimately require from you will not feel like work.
The finished product cannot give you that kind of information. You will never get that kind of information in the final product. It's like looking at Denzel Washington, at the Oscars. He may be a presenter there; you may get motivated by his words. But that's about it.
Motivation will make you feel good, but it won't help you recognize what the high achiever moves are. For those of you who love to read, I suggest you read the biography about the person or people who have done what you want to do successfully. Then apply that to your own situation and simply duplicate.
Yes, there is no need to change the moves that work. If they work for them; they will work for you if you work for them.
Pay close attention to the non-obvious. See how people interact. You cannot tell me that because the video camera is running it's fake. Particularly, in this case, Karry Wang Junkai grew up with cameras on him and his TF- BOYS bandmates. The camera on you will showcase an amplified version of your character's traits.
This is very important when you want to succeed in Show Business, to have discipline.
Be on time and pay attention. Do not waste people's time, because you will end up wasting your chances.
Repetition and frequency are the keys. Why do Karry and the dancers keep on repeating the same moves; right up until they are ready to take the stage? Because just like Bruce Lee famously said: "I am not scared of the man who can throw 10,000 punches, I am more scared of the men who have practiced how to throw one punch 10,000 times."
The TF-BOYS, were kids when they were selected to form that group. You should know the truth; even if kids are naturally pre-disposed to learn anything like an absorbing sponge; in fact, you can learn a new skill at any age; if you only focus on that one skill for a certain length of time.
Most people don't do it because they think it is too late, but the fact is that our brain can be trained over time to learn a new skill and form new habits at the highest level, through repetition, and frequency.
It does not matter how old, or young you are. I understand you’re not gonna go on stage and play a teenager; that’s fine. This video is for those of you who would like to be performing on stage at a stadium and those of you who want to perform at the stadium of your choice.
If you like to be singing and dancing on stage; these are principles of success that can give you access to that level. The same principles of success observed here, can be applied in any "Performance of your choice,"
You have here practical examples of what the basics of brilliance in any field look like.
Do not overthink it. Do the work. Paying attention and being open-minded are essential for you to succeed in your own endeavor. I hope you found great value in this post. You can like or share so that someone who needs to read this information can have access to it.
Have a great week.
