Friends of friends of Barnabe Rivera, read Daily News article here also known as BJ, 2/8/82 - 8/16/08 go to Brooklyn Supreme Court 10 AM Wednesday April 21st and Thursday April 22nd. Take the 4 train to Borough Hall. 320 Jay St 21st floor, #2121 Part 7. Dress code is appropriate. When you walk in the court room seat only on the right aisle with his family and friends. In advance thank you, for your support. Understand you can go even if you had not known him but to show support to his family who has to seat and look at his suspected murderer who has pleaded not guilty. BJ, was my friend and one of the most consistent "Booker," at Djamee Models/Stanley kaplan Talent, in its early installment. To his family he was a son a brother an uncle and future father. He his survived by his daughter that he never got to see as his life was cut short while his fiance was 7 months pregnant. It is a shame as Barnabe Rivera, was full of life. To this day I speak about Barnabe, to new models and friends who had not have the chance to meet him. I also keep him in my prayers. I know that somewhere whenever he can he looks after us and of course his beautiful daughter. Barnabe, was generous in life and in death. He was an organ donor. When he lost his life his eyes became the best gift of life for someone in need. Barnabe, was often misunderstood even by me at times... But he had a good heart. He was funny; alive and again a great model and a daring friend. We miss you always but your memory is alive forever.
