Lady Gaga GMA concert Central Park
So how is this possible? How can the Born This Way superstar have sold so much?
By Winning in Trending! Lady Gaga is #1 in anything social media: Over 10 million followers on Twitter; 32 million fans on Facebook; a pulverizing 1 million downloads in a record 5 days this past week; a #1 spot on the Forbes 100 Most Influential entertainers list; ahead of Oprah!
Early this year I met with Lady Gaga's video producer from Factory Films to collect a check in payment for services by our model for Born This Way video. The video had not been released yet and there I was, at the loading dock at Madison Square Garden, in a scene out of a movie; looking at that check with the ink on it not even dry. The next minute, I went to a Kinko's nearby to make a color copy of it; later I had it framed. Sometimes you can feel you are witnessing and observing history as it unfolds before your eyes. I knew this was one of this defining moment in time. I could feel the excitement and ever growing energy Lady Gaga, was sending to the Universe in particular to her fans.
Now each day, I look at the numbers on that check. With today's breaking record numbers of sales for her new album Born This Way; without sounding to cliche and with confidence I can say: Men lie, women lie, but Lady Gaga and Michael Jackson's numbers don't."
The King Of pop wanted to have Lady Gaga perform at his This Is It tour. He thought she was "Extremely talented!"
Michael Jackson, has a smile this morning looking from beyond and above on us as his business savvy continues to be proved almost 2 years after he took his place in paradise with the brightest stars to ever walk on earth. LADY GAGA is #1 and he had predicted it. Before Michael Jackson passing he had re-hired the team who helped him with the then secret negotiation for the Beatles catalog aquisition. The same business partners helped him aquire Lady Gaga's and Justin Bieber's catalogs among others.
Happy 18 birthday Steven Vega June 2nd, your brother LUKE, is a talented MC! I just found an MP4, files of Fireworks featuring Drake, in my crate this morning. I thought you would be happy that I shared it on D-Blog, on your Special day so I made an MP3, file for it and everyone can check it out bellow.
Talking of great new MC's I have been telling you about Young Rahda, since he started recording in 2005. Today I am posting Superfly, a song he wrote and made the beat for in 2009. Young Rahda, has been making surprise performances at the weekly Thursday, open mic hosted by Ford, at 9 Blecker St. YR, is also the subject of a secret TV, pilot in production in addition to modeling for European magazines. Y Rahda's mixtape will be released this Summer, and is co produced by FORD4D, with whom he has recorded more than 50 songs this past 2 months.
Observation: At the time of his untimely death Michael Jackson, in a 50% joint ventures with Sony"ATV" owned Lady Gaga's publishing catalog. When the "The NewYork Times," or "The Post," used to claim that Michael Jackson was "Broke,"it was a FABRICATED lie planted to the media by MJ's adversaries to undermine MJ's affairs and ruin his reputation.
A response to Forbes article (Jan. 2011) article:“Michael Jackson: Secret Business Genius?” Michael’s debt to the Bank of America was not actually a debt at all, but a business loan made for a big purchase, the profit of which would go to the bank to repay the loan itself!"
Other mentionable notes:

Rafael @ Djamee Open Lab printed issue #4
I would love to be able to say every time I scout someone on the streets; the train; the park; a cool kid with that special glow above em; that I always succeed; but it would be false. It is always worth it though; for the experience and interaction alone. It depends on you to become a working model. I will follow you; speak to you; introduce you to the idea and opportunity to become a Djamee Models, in a bold and usually short lived but intense moment. I will give you a number to call. I do all that because I am interested. I will not take your #. I learned that if you want something you go get it. I came to you and scouted you; now you should be allowed some space and freedom to think about how this is right or not for you. By me calling you is like trying to sell you the idea. Once you made up your mind and you contact me; next you will need to be willing to be coached. You will need to accept to learn something new in your life. You will need to build a new foundation in the way you think. The second I meet you I have the vision of your accomplishment. If you can see yourself as complete as I see you; you are half way there. Start fresh. Allow yourself to learn the real deal while working with the best people in the industry. You will reach your goal your sky will be your ceiling. Today I am happy because Rafael, that I spotted on September 4th 2009 on a platform of a 1 train bounded to the Bronx in New York, has grown into a stand alone model. Rafael's biggest editorial to date of 8 photos for Open Lab printed issue #4, is now available on news stand worldwide; with photography by Delwin Kamara congratulations Rafael because you made that decison. You put faith in fate-

After almost 10 years a revival of NYC techno scene?
A DJ during the outlaw in The Heights NYC: 05/13/11
Mike Skill, took me to a bad ass outlaw last Friday in Washington Heights. There were two rooms under the bridge. 1 on the back with hard core gabber house playing; and 1 set up outdoor for hard house and trance. There was a cool vibe. I had not attended a rave in years. I was wearing Red Wings, shoes!!! That was not a wise choice to go dancing in those boots. Use your comfy Air-max instead for a better (((rave))) dancing experience. They had strobe lights and kids with glowstix and fluorescent swords. Much props to the young organizers. Unfortunately the party was shut down a little after midnight. We had been there for about an hour. May be the fact that it was near a construction site made it an hazard and a hot point. The constant back and forth and flow of kids in the neighborhood all gearing toward the same destination did not help keep the location a secret -photo & text-DR
something extra for you:
As I walk, as I walk
The universe is walking with me
In beauty it walks before me
In beauty it walks behind me
In beauty it walks below me
In beauty it walks above me
Beauty is on every side
As I walk, I walk with Beauty.

GRINDING NYC. Americk Lewis threw his 1st event last night at a top a notch studio in Times Square. This was also his birthday. I arrived 1 hour before the event closed. I could tell it has been a success. The vibe was great, revelers were standing most looking in direction of the stage; some drinking most talking to someone. Scantily dressed bartenders were offering bud Lights in the late hours before another round of Vodka was available. Jennifer is a great singer she wanted us to have updated photos together so she grabbed me. Jennifer, and I met at a previous GRINDING NYC edition. This was Young Rahda first stop at GRINDING NYC and as passionate as he his of his craft he opened the freestyle segment with a band live. Hardcore lyrics and flow by the young emcee got the crowd pumped for more. I gave one of my Blue and yellow StuddedSpikes to a girl in the audience who deserved it. See the photo bellow .
Can't wait for the next jam. I love music I love GRINDING NYC all photos from my Incognito phone :) DR

Today I received my email confirmation so my date and I will get to watch TRON LEGACY on the 14th of December; 3 days b4 it officially opens in theaters.....YESS. I can see the Gothic StuddedSpikeslike & stylish athmosphere with Daft Punk scoring the original movie soundtrack. This will most def be a treat and the movie is 3D.
Today I open my email and to my surprise my boy Donte R, has a new song. His initials are D.R wait. So don't go say I have a song out cause my name is Djamee Raphael. I don't LOL . But if like me you like Chris Brown when he started this is for you; umpretentious fun and well produced.
